What does the sliding scale look like?
As a rule of thumb, I don't want clients to have to spend more than twice their hourly wage if that amount is less than the base rate. With a base rate of $50, if you make less than $25/hour, including no income, you would be eligible for the sliding scale.

I am a minor, can I schedule a consultation?
Unfortunately, my services are only available to adults 18 years and older. I would highly recommend The Trevor Project for queer youth in search of services.

How long does the support relationship typically last?
There isn't a limit to the number of sessions a client can have. Clients will have a check-in at least every five sessions about the expected duration of the relationship moving forward. Simply put, I will have a conversation with each individual.

I can't afford my appointment this week. What should I do?
Don't worry! I don't impose penalties for missing appointments if you want to skip a week. I ask for at least a 12-hour notice of cancellation, but more advanced notice is appreciated. Alternatively, we can have a conversation about reducing the fee or waiving the fee. While I can't offer this unlimitedly, I hope to be as flexible with clients as possible when it comes to cost.
